Sweet Surprise!

Thanks to Hillery, Brian, Grayson and Hudson for bringing Anna cupcakes on her birthday.
Of the ten pictures not one of them was of Anna smiling. I take out the camera and she turns on the frowns!

Lukie loved the frosting.

New Blogging Friend

I think the best part of blogging is to reconnect with old friends and be able to share in their lives. I just received a comment from my best friend in high school's younger sister. It took me a minute to figure out who it was. After figuring out who it was I went strait to her bolg and it gave me a happy smile to read through Becky's blog and catch up with her life. I do have to say now I feel really old because I still remember Becky as Buffy's little sister. Now she's been married almost as long as I have and she's passed me up in the children department! So FUN, another blog tp add to our list of "blogs we love so much." Now if only her older sister would get her blog updated. I'm not holding my breath:)

This is how I remember Becky. So young!

Disney Imagination

There are some seriously creative minds over at Disney. My friend Joy posted these awesome Disney adds done with celebrities. Here are two of my favorite. I think I like them so much because it brings a sense of reality to the fairy tale stories.
I found this Princess quiz on Natalie's blog. It goes right along with the pictures. What princess are you?

Headstrong and fiesty. You have a mind of your own that's full of romantic dreams about the world around you. Exploring exotic places is your ultimate dream, and although you can be a little naive you'll realize that there is something to be gained from your family's wisdom.

Our baby turns 3

How time flies. She's already three. I can still remember the thoughts of just wanting a baby. We had been trying for so long and just wanted so much to be parents. Then three years ago our prayers were answered. I was in working in Reno when I thought I could be pregnant. About eight pregnancy tests later I was pretty sure I was pregnant. After six years of waiting it took that many tests to convince me. Chris immediately drove to Reno to check out all the test for himself. Nine months later we had a beautiful baby girl.

The Hospital

Going home. Just kidding we're back. Anna has to be hospitalized for four days due to Jondus.

3 months 4 months and first solid food.

Chilling out on the beach in Florida. Mom, Andrew, Lupe, Anna and myself took trip out to Florida to visit Aaron. I can't believe I took her on a six hour plane ride at only 6 weeks old.
11 months

Nice "fangs!"

1st Birthday. We went with a circus theme. Anna had a fever that day so was pretty grumpy. So I'm not sure how much she enjoyed the party. I can say that all our family and friends who were there had a great time. We had clowns, bounce houses, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, hot dogs and who can forget games and swimming.

2 years old

That's the only picture we have of her second birthday. I lost my camera with over 500 pictures on the memory card.

She loves being a princess! It's so funny it's like one day she woke up and from then on everything was princess this and princess that. Oh ya and everything has to be pink.

It's been three amazing years with Anna. She is has the sweetest spirit. She kind and thoughtful, yet very independent and opinionated. She loves to color and read. She also loves to sit and watch Disney Princess movies. Movie of choice is Cindrella. Favorite color is pink. Favorite restaurant is Mikuni. Get out she love sushi. Not really she loves the rice and tofu. Really it's her favorite. Favorite ice cream is orange sherbet. Friends she loves to play with are Leah, Ashley, Grayson and William. Favorite thing to do is play dress up and dance like a princess.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!

11:50 p.m.

Need a Pepsi so I can keep blogging. My hand is cramping from all the mouse clicking. Ouch! and my butt hurts from this hard chair.

San Francisco

On a whim we decided to go to San Francisco for the day. We stared at Pier 39 and walked to Ghirardelli Square. Chris think we walked too much but I loved it. The kids had so much fun. They loved playing in the park. Can't wait to go back. Maybe next trip we will take a trolley ride.
Riding the carousel at Pier 39. Just like when we went to Disneyland it was Anna's favorite party of the trip.

OK SERIOUSLY! It can't cost more than .25 cents to make a bag on cotton candy and they are charging $4.00. How can they do that? OH I know how, it's because they have a carts lined with bags of cotton candy and when the kids go buy they see it and cry and scream until we buy it. Yes that's exactly why they can charge $4.00. I'd like to not give in but what are we suppose to do...carry around extra bags of cotton candy on the occasions that we pass a stand selling it and my kids cry and scream until we give them some. Oh well it was way overpriced but Anna and Luke ate it right up.

There is something about the sea lions that Chris enjoys. When I mentioned going to SF he immediately said he wanted to go see the sea lions. I guess it is kinda cool how they all stay in this one place at pier 39. Anna enjoyed watching them.

After lunch at Boudin we headed over to Ghirardelli Square for some ice cream. Too bad the line was so long we decided against it. The kids had fun playing in the park right down from the square. Lukie and Anna were playing tag. This was the first time we've really seen them interact and actually play a game together. They play together but not usually a game that requires Lukie to really be involved in a two person game. It was so cute watching him try to run. Mostly they just screamed and laughed.

Check this out. Yup that's throw-up on the ground. Anna had had too much soda combined with the running, laughing, screaming and wind caused her to blow some chunks. What great parents we are. We're not helping Anna we are video taping her and taking pictures. Lukie just checking out all the action. Poor Anna!
